El Genesis recoge dos mitos Hebreos sobre la creacion, pero existen mas que quedaron fuera.
Uno de ellos es muy interesante porque incluye una figura femenina, Lilith.
Robert Groves, que escribio mucho sobre ese mito, baso una gran parte de su carrera literaria hablando del papel de la mujer en las religiones antiguas, ya sea abiertamente o como ritos secretos.
Segun el mito, Adan, un veinteañero cachondo, se vuelve celoso de todas la parejitas de animales que Dios le presenta para que les ponga un nombre. Frustrado, Adan intenta montar a las hembras de varia especies animales pero encuentra que aquello no es satisfactorio y le pide a Dios una pareja como el resto de los animalotes.
Entonces Dios crea a Lilith como compañera de Adan, pero en lugar de usar polvo de buena calidad se ve que tambien cogio sedimentos y otras morrallas que habia por el suelo (eso le pasa por trabajar en Domingo).
Lilith se mosqueo con Adan porque le parecia que estar siempre abajo cuando fornicaban era humillante, y al parecer Adan era un ser simplon al que solo le gustaba la posicion del misionero.
Aburrida del panoli de Adan, se va volando al Mar Rojo donde al parecer abundan los demonios. Alli el contubernio es continuo y Lilith se tira a cientos de demonios al dia mientras Adan tiene que cuidar a los crios que habian tenido.
Los angeles Senoy, Sansenoy y Semangelof se van a por la pecora para llevarla junto a Adan, pero esta se niega (logicamente) y Dios la condena a ver morir a 100 de sus hijos demoniacos cada dia.
Lilith aparece una vez en el antiguo testamento. Los Hebreos consideraban a Lilith como una disablesa, inmortal por tanto, que seducia hombres y estrangulaba niños. Todo un ideal moderno: juventud inmortal, seductora, y sin crios.
Mientras tanto Dios comienza con Eva 1.0, construyendola a base de tejidos vivos delante de Adan. Este, con el estomago revuelto por haber contemplado toda la casqueria, declara que es incapaz de tocar a Eva 1.0 y Dios se ve obligado a tirar la beta a la papelera y comenzar Eva 2.0.
Eva 2.0 es la de la costilla, y como contiene pocos bugs es aceptada por el mercado. Fin.
El nombre Lilith proviene del asirio-babilónico "lilitu", que significa "espíritu del viento", o "demonio-hembra". Y forma parte de una tríada mencionada en conjuros babilónicos. Con anterioridad, aparece con la forma "Lillake" en una tablilla sumeria del 2000 a.C., como un demonio-hembra que habita el tronco de un sauce custodiado por la diosa Inanna, junto al Éufrates. La etimología hebrea popular parece haber derivado al Lilit de "layit", la noche y a menudo se la interpretó por tanto como un monstruo nocturno y peludo (y así aparece también en la tradición popular árabe). De hecho, se dice que Salomón sospechó que la reina de Sabá era Lilit porque tenía vello en las piernas. Según Isaías 34, 14-15, Lilit mora en las ruinas del desierto de Edom, acompañada por demonios y alimañas.
Lilith dio a Adán, según el excelso poeta y pintor prerrafaelita Dante Gabriel Rossetti, "Glittering sons and radiant daughters" (en el poema Eden Bower).
