Conocéis páginas para sacar certificaciones o cualquier otro tipo de cursos online y por la pati? Yo siempre he ido a presenciales pero ahora no me sobra tiempo. He visto en páginas tipo tecnoempleo que hay pero no sé si son una pérdida de tiempo o si te ata a hacer otros cursos mierder.

Por la pati tendria que ser cursos de estos que se benefician de la cuota de formación de tu nómina. Aunque no es de programacion yo me saque el CCNA de Cisco en una academia gratis, ni siquiera pague por el examen en el aula Cisco en Sevilla,

Aprovecho para agradecer a Iskariote y Patolaqueado por las cotestaciones que me han dado. Voy a mirar tema de Siemens y PLC, miraré tambien algun curso del AulaMentor que creo alguna cosilla del sector habia.

En coursera.org, udemy y ese tipo de webs, que hay unas cuantas, tienes formación por parte de profesores de las universidades más prestigiosas del mundo. Además, puedes pedir que te manden el título certificando que lo has hecho y aprobado. Los hay incluso de seguimiento libre, por si no te puedes ceñir a las fechas y tal.

Yo he hecho varios, más por gusto que por trabajo, y están genial.

Yo ahora soy autonomo, y en algunos sitios sí que me aceptan como el osito de peluche que somos los freelance, en otros no quieren saber nada.

He ido siguiendo este hilo, y... bueno, está muy bien contar con una visión 'desde las tripas' del mundo del developer-developer-developer. Un poco desesperanzador en estos últimos post.... Pero es lo que hay!

Ahora que se hablaba de cursos... Voy llenando un disco con diferentes video tutoriales sobre lenguajes, sobre técnicas; un poco cajón de sastre Hay de todo, mejor y peor, pero son de cualquier forma bastante más serios que los videos del youtube.

En fin, que pal'que le interese pongo una lista. Si cualquiera quiere que suba unos cuantos para compartirlos... pues que lo diga.

Por ir más al tema de nuevos lenguajes...

Supongo que como todos, cuando empezaba con esto, lo que buscaba era que mi programa 'corriera rápido'. Por eso -amabas- a tu compilador (ese TurboC de mis amores), insertabas código ensamblador en puntos críticos, dudabas entre un signed y un unsigned... y cuando te hablaban de lenguajes interpretados... bueno, cara de gneeee.

Sin embargo ahora, pa'lo bueno y pa'lo malo, la batalla del compilador/intérprete no tiene sentido. La cuota de uso de los lenguajes compilados es muuucho menor, y en áreas como el desarrollo móvil o para web, es prácticamente inexistente. Como mucho se emplean soluciones mixtas... y aún así. Al final es siempre un intérprete o una máquina virtual (o el framework .net, o ...) la que lee y hace correr tu código.

Por eso, desde hace unos meses intento 'pasarme al enemigo' y aprender bien un lenguaje plenamente interpretado. Para aprovechar las ventajas que ofrecen: orientación a objetos mucho más libre que de cualquier compilador, metaprogramación... en fin, programas más vivos. Programas que se mueven mientras los ejecutas.

Y las opciones eran Python o Ruby; el javascript.... uffffff. Aunque es bueno saber hacer cuatro cosas con él, tiene desde mi punto de vista demasiada 'herencia equivocada'.

Y Python... como que no. Esa idea del 'Debería haber una -y preferiblemente sólo una- manera obvia de hacerlo' es todo lo contrario a lo que he visto siempre; hay mil soluciones diferentes a cada problema. Muchas malas, muchas muy buenas... pero ahí está la gracia del programador: que tu escribes un código cojonudo, viene otro y te dice 'así está bien, pero yo he probado esto y esto y.....'. Aparte de que las serpientes me dan asco, ja, ja, ja, ja... y cada vez que veo una estantería de libros de Python se me pone mal cuerpo :137

Por eso llevo unas semanas partiéndome los cuernos con Ruby... ¿Ideas/sugerencias? ¿Alguno que esté por el estilo...?

Alguien me pregunto por streams guapos, creo que Armin o Iskariote, originalmente no puse este link porque no pensaba ni que tuviera interes ni que fuera a llegar lejos pero hoy he estado mirando por curiosidad como iba y me he visto algunos videos, me ha dejado alucinado :

Es un freak que está haciendo un juego en C++ en Windows desde cero y a la antigua usanza, es decir, sin librerias externas, sin engines, sin nada, compilando desde línea de comandos con sus propias automatizaciones, usando emacs y VisualStudio como depurador externo, es tan jodidamente detallista que hasta hace un curso de introducción a C al principio, y no solo eso es que te cuenta hasta como establecer las variables de entorno y los comandos msdos que va usando según lo hace, si alguien tiene nivel le puede resultar cansino porque cuenta hasta las cosas más obvias al detalle, pero sino es 100% recomendable para alguien que quiera aprender C++ y al mismo tiempo a hacer juegos desde cero, pero desde cero de verdad, en plan :

-gñe soy gilipollas.
-no te preocupes majo que de aquí sales programando.

Sí, en realidad es como tu dices, pero es que está orientado al aprendizaje desde cero, es como un reto personal que se ha marcado el tío, se dedica a programación de juegos en plan profesional, pero luego aparte ha decidido recuperar la antigua forma de hacerlos, supongo que porque le sobra el tiempo y la pasta. Lo que dices del API de windows es otra cosa que me llamó la atención, según va desarrollando te va enseñando el API de windows y como funciona.

Además de lo que dice iskariote, muchos de ellos dicen abiertamente que estar programando como forma de ganarte la vida con un "one man team" es aburrido y puede ser hasta depresivo, mediante el streaming consiguen estar acompañados en el proceso con los comentarios y la interacción con los usuarios.

Si a mi me dice un joven informatico que comienza, por dónde tirar, le diría que pase kilotones del api de windows y se meta a fondo con el desarrollo para iOS o Android. Es igual o más excitante, y tiene más recorrido.

Es que esto de enseñar el API de windows es como muy de los años 90, que es cuando empecé yo a usarla allá por el año 93 con el vomitivo Visual C++ 1.0 con su MFC y el menos vomitivo Borland C++ con su OWL.

Ya que te pones con un tostón, que sea un tostón a la última coño.

Por la pati tendria que ser cursos de estos que se benefician de la cuota de formación de tu nómina. Aunque no es de programacion yo me saque el CCNA de Cisco en una academia gratis, ni siquiera pague por el examen en el aula Cisco en Sevilla,

Aprovecho para agradecer a Iskariote y Patolaqueado por las cotestaciones que me han dado. Voy a mirar tema de Siemens y PLC, miraré tambien algun curso del AulaMentor que creo alguna cosilla del sector habia.

¿Per fue la certificación oficial de CCNA Routing and Switching? Pienso que lo que habrás hecho es un curso de preparación mediante la plataforma Netacad, pero los exámenes de estos cursos no son oficiales aunque sea de Cisco. Normalmente las academias o cursos no te pagan las certificaciones oficiales, estas se hacen en centros oficales como Pearson VUE (CCNA, CCNP, LPIC...), y aunque el CCNA es el más básico, el examen es bastante jodidillo dentro de su nivel.

A mi lo que me toca los huevos de Cisco es que si comienzas el exámen de certificación no te permite hacer revisión: si pasas de pregunta ahí te jodes. Lo único que tienes es una pizarrita para hacer cálculos como la de los entrenadores de básket y un pc con un maromo/a que no tiene ni puta idea de redes dando vueltas, aunque sean cálculos básicos de subnetting o supernetting, el tiempo se agota y no lo dejes para el final porque te jodes, literal. Pero como todo, hay que estudiar, y sobre todo en inglés ya que los exámenes sólo están en inglés y en chino mandarín. También, la certificación te la puedes sacar en dos partes de los cuatro temas que tocas (en un exámen harías los dos primeros, y en segundo los otros dos), pero lo suyo es hacerlo de golpe.

Para mi el CCNA es un tostón, yo me la saqué en su día pero y hace poco la tuve que renovar, tenía pensado el CCNP pero éste sí que es chungo, hay que tener ganas y tiempo. Lo único bueno es que si tienes un CCNA y un CCNP, con un exámen se te renueva todo de golpe.

Una certificación de éstas está bien si luego la vas a aprovechar porque te abre muchas puertas ya que hay empresas que, aunque tengas mucha experiencia con redes, si no tienes una certificación no te dejan tocar un router Cisco, como suena. Pero luego te encuetras la realidad que todo lo que te enseñan en Cisco no vale ni la mitad cuando tienes que configurar un router o switch Juniper, por ejemplo.

Hombre a mi me sirvío para entrar en Ono a trabajar y para alguna practica remunerada, este año tendria que renovarla....pero no tengo ganas la verdad,voy a tirar por otros caminos
